Chief engineer
Everything is in theory until it isn't.
Bexa Rhin knows every relay, conduit and loose panel on the Snowdon, and talks to all of them. The chief engineer is cheerful, loud and fiercely proud of her ship, and of the experimental Chain Reaction Pulsar she has personally nursed through four prototypes.
Whether the pulsar actually works is a matter of ongoing debate. Rhin is the only person aboard who has never doubted it.
