Snowdon: The Shackleton Expanse is a ten-episode audio drama, made by volunteers for the love of Star Trek.
The show
Set in 2381, a few years after the Dominion War, Snowdon follows the crew of an Akira-class warship sent to chart a lawless, unmapped region of space. It mixes the moral weight of the best Star Trek with humour, action and a story that builds across the season.
Every episode is free to listen to. There are no ads, no donations and no paid extras. There never will be.
Thin Air Productions
Thin Air Productions is the name of the volunteer team behind Snowdon. The name is a nod to the thin air at a mountain’s summit, and to making a whole world out of nothing but voices and sound.
